Paging Dr. NerdLove

Feb 9, 2017

I want to talk to you about one quick thing that you can do that will boost your personal charisma almost instantly.

And that is: I want you to stop apologizing.

Part of what makes people charismatic is that sense of conviction and authenticity. We all crave certainty - it’s a magnetic quality because uncertainty causes literal discomfort. If we ourselves can’t be certain about something, we take reassurance from people who are. The more conviction and certainty you have, the more people are drawn to you.

But you can’t have that when you abandon your own power through apologizing needlessly. So you need to learn to harness the power of not apologizing for how you feel or what you love.

Show Highlights:

  • How so many men undercut their own desirability
  • Why certainty is so appealing
  • The power of being direct
  • The difference between asking and trying to convince others

and so much more.
